18 hours of elite on-ice instruction dedicated to becoming a better defenceman! Train each week this winter for an hour and a half to develop the skating, puck skills and decision-making that elite defencemen possess. Players learn new skills and tactics each week and how to apply them in specific game situations.
Bronko Elite Defenceman Program, Winter 2024
CAA Arena, Brampton
Jan 7 - Apr 1 2025 (Excluding March 11 for a total of 12 weeks)
5:30-7pm (1.5hrs) every Tuesday
Program overview:
Backwards and transition skating will be a priority as we progress from general to more specific techniques each week. Puck control and puck protection will be an important area of focus as well so players learn the techniques and develop the confidence to protect the puck without panic and to generate offence with precision and purpose. Lastly we will build a solid foundation of defensive skills, tactics and awareness so players understand how to play without the puck and win the 1v1 battles they face every game.

"Both my boys ages 8 and 12 attended the camps. They both had a great week. I particularly liked how the skills were reinforced after each session with the instructors coming into the change rooms and quizzing the kids and performing demonstrations on what was covered that day on the ice."
"Thanks Dion....Boys loved your camp and said it was the best."
"Hi Dion, Thanks for a great week at Camp. Ryan really enjoyed it and learned lots which helps boost his confidence going into the season. He's already asked to return to your next camps. Cheers."
"Hi Dion, We were talking about the last practice on Saturday and I just wanted to let you know that David is very happy with what he learns during the training with you. As parents, we really appreciate your feedback and encouragement that keeps him improving his skills in hockey. I mentioned to Jane that we really like the kids and also the group of parents. A well done job! Thanks for the opportunity! We appreciate it!"
